Staff SurveyorBio/ExperienceTravis Fox is a Survey Project Manager at WPL. He has 18 years of experience in land surveying. Mr. Fox started at WPL in the Survey Division as a Project Surveyor in January, 2005 having completed the requirements for the L.S.I.T. in 2003. He has extensive experience with boundary, construction, topographic and transportation surveys and has gained valuable experience and diverse perspective during his employment with other area firms throughout his professional development.Mr. Fox assists Mr. Pritchard in overseeing boundary and subdivision calculations and site layout, as well as providing a critical point-of-view towards survey operations in both the office and the field. On occasion where a project demands additional direct supervision, Mr. Fox draws on his many years as a Survey Party Chief to educate, instruct and assist the survey field crews in performing more complex and involved procedures. In the spring of 2010 Mr. Fox accepted a position with Old Dominion University as an Assistant Adjunct Professor teaching ‘Surveying for Engineers’, a degree-credit course for prospective Civil Engineering students to learn about the fundamental principles of Land Surveying.
