Surveying

WPL provides surveying and mapping services for clients around the Hampton Roads area. From major buildings and utility systems to private home construction sites, our staff is experienced in surveying any type of project. The three main areas of surveying services include site planning and development, construction support, and property transactions.

Each of our surveying teams is equipped with the latest electronic equipment, which has the capability of working in both the English and Metric systems.

TECHNOLOGY PROFILE

WPL's talented design professionals, who focus on the developing innovative and cost effective solutions for clients, utilize a state-of-the-art fully networked computer system. All survey drafting personnel are proficient in AutoCAD with COGO application software. Large scale printing capabilities allow us to generate plats and plans in-house for medium and small projects. Each of our four surveying teams is equipped with Topcon or Nikon total stations with data collectors with English or Metric capability. One of the survey teams is also equipped with Topcon GR-3 Global Positioning System.
