Mike Fox, ASLA

Senior Associate
Landscape Architect

Bio/Experience

Mike is left-handed, and he is an identical twin.  Other than that, he is an ordinary guy who lives in Virginia Beach with his beautiful wife and two lovely daughters.  Aside from the enjoyment of taking his family to museums, parks, aquariums, and zoos, he also delights in designing for these public spaces.  Mike’s work also spans from small residential design to large city planning and almost everything in between.   The ability to turn art into a place full of memories is fascinating to him.

Mike hasn’t always intended on doing design work.  He originally went to school to become an officer in the U.S. Navy.  While studying Leadership and Naval Weapons Systems and cruising the Atlantic Ocean in submarines, he picked up a degree in Landscape Architecture, and has since fallen in love with this new career.  Mike has been able to use his broad background in leadership, natural systems, and art to create a practical outlet for his talents at WPL.
